Baby Leo’s baptism was full of fuzzy little creatures, and we couldn’t have been happier about it. Our venue was transformed into a magical woodland for the sweetest little boy. From the rustic décor to the unforgettable sweet table, no detail was overlooked.
The Décor
The tables featured a rustic table runner that set the stage for the animal themed centerpieces. Whether it was a fox, fawn, hedgehog or deer, guests were assigned a table based on these furry friends that were oh so nicely put on stationery at each table. To accompany the animal stationery, were fresh flower arrangements that utilized the perfect mixture of green and white florals to compliment the woodland theme. Branches and leaves were also added for enhancement. At each place, guests were presented with menu cards along with a S’mores kit to take home. What could be more fitting than S’more takeaways for a woodland theme?
The display set up by the window also did a great job of adding to the theme. It featured similar rustic décor along with branches, leaves and wooden candles. However, the highlight of the display was the sign that read, “I love you more than I can bear.” Our hearts melted when we saw it!
The Sweet Table
The sweet table did not disappoint. It consisted of a trail mix bar. That’s right… A trail mix bar! With an assortment of fruits and nuts, guests were able to create their own mixture. If one didn’t feel one with the woodlands already, little animal figurines were also scattered around the trial mix bar.
The rustic-style naked cake was placed in the middle of the table surrounded by branches and green leaves. Our favourite part though, was the tree trunk cake stand used to support it.
Baby Leo’s magical woodland was a baptism we will never forget. Every little detail was so carefully thought out to create the perfect setting. The rustic décor was on-trend and the use of wild animals was perfect for the event. The only thing cuter than the baptism was baby Leo himself. It was a pleasure hosting such a happy baby’s big day.
